The Stories Behind Trends

This project illustrate five fashion terms which selected by Google Trends Report 2016: Flight Jacket (and Bomber Jacket), Off-The-Shoulder, Culottes, Rompers (and Playsuit) and Jumper Shorts of how does those terms appear in the fashion trends in Twitter, and another element of that project is to see the stories of each terms. The research involved Google News data, and combined with the trends of those fashion terms in past 12 months (from October 31, 2015 to November 1, 2016). It selected 4 peaks of each trends, and searched Google News of those peaks. The collection of words frequency in those news could show the impact of the fashion buzz mostly are from fashion leaders (such as celebrities).
